Should I Hire a Wedding Planner
Planning the perfect wedding is a HUGE job. Just like anything else there are many details that you may not think of. Then you might just spend your wedding day thinking about what could have been. I can remember asking young couples about the details of their wedding and getting that “deer in the headlight” look. Not sure about that!

A wedding planner could be worth their weight in gold if they save you from having a nervous breakdown. And there are different levels of service, from planning the whole thing and calling the vendors, to being there on your wedding day and orchestrating the whole event. Or they could just set you up with a checklist and some recommendations.
Here are some advantages of hiring a wedding planner.
1. Remove stress from you.
2. Plan and help you track your budget.
3. Give you creative ideas to make sure that your wedding is “perfect”.
4. Help you find the best vendors in the area of the wedding. This is especially important if the wedding is not in your familiar area.
5. Taking your ideas and hers to mold the perfect wedding. Making sure that everything flows and goes together correctly.
6. Making sure that EVERY detail is thought of and attended to.
If you decide against a planner or decide not to have the planner at the wedding, I recommend that at the very least you have a close friend or relative watch over things at the wedding and the reception. This will be the best day of your life and you need to enjoy it and remember it as such. I have seen many brides frantic at their wedding because details were not planned or things did not go as planned.
I know that I have said this before, but there is only one right way to have a wedding. And that way is your way. Just make sure that if you do not feel 100 percent confident that you know what you are doing, get some help. There is only one shot to get it right!
